Institute for Urban Interactions
The Institute for Urban Interactions is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary research group designing for tomorrow’s problems in partnership with today’s cities. Urban Interactions offers expertise at the intersections of design thinking, interaction design, and urban design, inviting diverse thinkers and makers to test their ideas around XL problem spaces, from autonomous mobility to responsive cities. Services offered range from participatory workshops, interdisciplinary think tanks, urban prototyping simulations, and scalable interactive platforms (digital/physical).
We believe there is a sweet spot in between research and application - one of which is particularly necessary for designing and engineering more sustainable, inclusive, and livable cities.
